CASP 2023

Our major funding round in the first quarter of the year has been the small grants Country Arts Support Program (CASP). This is funded by Create NSW for projects up to $3000 to assist individual creatives or community groups in undertaking locally determined community arts and cultural activities - projects, workshops, festivals, residency programs, performances and more.

Of the five projects from across Regional NSW funded under our 2023 round of CASP, all are Studio Co!Lab members and three are from our member local government organisation, Dubbo Regional Council. The projects total almost $13,400 for activities including the development of new visual artworks for exhibition, touring and workshopping original music, professionally recording music, and scoping the development of a new artist residency program with international connections.

The successful applicants are:

1. Kate Kenworthy (Wellington)

2. Dr Leah Bullen (Armidale)

3. Clinton Hoy (Dubbo)

4. Dr Helena Pastor (Armidale)

5. Kim V. Goldsmith (Dubbo)

We'll update you on this page as projects progress over the coming months. All projects must be completed by the end of October this year.

Wellington based artist, Kate Kenworthy will be showing in the HomeGround program at the Western Plains Cultural Centre in Dubbo, opening 27 May

CASP is funded by the NSW Government through Create NSW
