Strategic directions
Creating equitable opportunities.
Orana Arts’ vision is about equity for regional artists and cultural institutions within the cultural sector and creative economy of NSW.
2023: Annual Report
2023 was a year of further consolidation following our change in strategic direction in 2021. Creating equitable opportunities for regional artists of all ages, stages and artforms, initiating and nurturing partnerships with community and cultural organisations, and celebrating the depth and maturity of creativity across Regional NSW have been at the heart of this year’s activities.

2021-2024: Strategic Plan
Regional artists and cultural organisations deserve equitable access to opportunities, recognition and career development. Our mission is to provide pathways and connections that extend well beyond ‘the local’ for our stakeholders in regional NSW.
Through our programs people in the cultural sector interact, train and practise regularly, building practical connections with leaders in their field. Our role is to advocate for and elevate the status of the regional cultural sector in our State.

2020: Annual Report
2021 is likely to be as challenging a year as 2020 was, and it may be many years before things return to the way they were before March 2020, if at all. However, this provides an important opportunity to realign the organisation, over coming years, as one of great value to regional artists, museums and their communities of interest.
